Yongquan Demo - now available on DVD

At last! The Yongquan 2003 Martial Arts Demo is now available on DVD. The disc includes:

• Tai Chi Chuan - atmospheric demos of the Yongquan and Lam Short Forms
• Southern Broadsword - an unusual compilation of three unique Forms in one display
• Northern Gim (Jian) straight sword - an athletic and energetic Form from Northern China
• Self defence - a 'tongue in cheek' skit which demos some useful techniques from Choy Lee Fut, Tai Chi Chuan and more
• A traditional Northern Shaolin two man combat set
• Chin Na demo - a look at the usage of some of the locking and throwing techniques used in Chinese martial arts (shown at full speed and slowly, so that the method can be seen)
• Bak Sing, Choy Lee Fut - Forms from this rarely seen art, empty handed and with an unusual weapon
• Internal breaking and Internal strength demos:
  • Bottle breaking with a slap of the palm
  • Breaking a concrete slab from finger tip distance
  • Shattering tiles which are loosely suspended
  • Iron Arm Kung
  • Golden Bell Kung (sometimes called Iron Torso)
  • Iron Palm - breaking a granite pebble!
  • Iron Head Kung - Has to be seen to be believed!

Combat Magazine called it: "A smashing demonstration from a smashing group!"

Marnix Wells (Tai Chi Union of Great Britain) said the demo was: "An inspiration to us all."
